Religious Leaders

Shaykh Saifullah Muhammad was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where he memorized the Holy Quran as well as studied his secular studies (up to high school). He then went on to do his Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies at the international University of Al Hasanain located in Pakistan. He specialized in Quranic sciences with an Ijazah from one of the Imams of Masjid Quba Madinah Tul Munawarah, as well as Hanafi and Shafi Fiqh with multiple scholars from around the world. Shaykh Saifullah served as Resident Imam and Instructor at Madina Institute Atlanta, which is an Islamic Seminary with branches in over 10 countries. For the past four years, he has served as the Resident Scholar of the Northwest Islamic Community Center in Plymouth MN. Shaykh Saifullah recently graduated with his Masters of Divinity with a focus in Islamic Chaplaincy from Bayan Islamic Graduate School Chicago, he is now currently pursuing his Doctorate in Islamic Leadership at Bayan Islamic Graduate School Chicago. He is also pursing his Iftā degree at Al-Salam Institute, which Shaykh Akram Nadwi and other senior scholars.
